Job summary

Michaels Stores in Tucker, GA is seeking an events-focused teammate to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children's parties, and to deliver friendly customer service across all guest interactions.

You will guide guests through products, support checkout flow, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and help with stock, merchandising, and store safety per brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants; perform face painting and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Handle admin tasks: emails, calls and paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs; create backup plans.
• Ensure client satisfaction and uphold store safety and cleanliness.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling/production; support sq. and SOPs.
