Job summary

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Commack, NY is seeking an energetic bartender to craft cocktails, share menu recommendations, and provide outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced bar and dining room. You’ll greet guests, build connections, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and ensure responsible alcohol service while staying compliant with state laws.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender, bar back, server, or in any other front-of-house (FOH) restaurant role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly at the bar and create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere.
• Craft memorable moments with personalized, attentive service that goes beyond expectations.
• Maintain exceptional service standards for all guests at the bar and in the dining area.
• Take and prepare drink and food orders quickly and accurately to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Stay proactive by restocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the workspace guest-ready at all times.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the ACFP menu to confidently answer questions and make suggestive sales.
• Create high-quality, craft cocktails with consistency and care.
• Maintain a full understanding of alcoholic beverage laws and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state guidelines.
• Build genuine connections with guests, creating memorable dining experiences.
• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Stand for the duration of your shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Keep a positive attitude and friendly demeanor throughout each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, upholding food safety and quality standards.
