Job summary

Puttshack Louisville is seeking a friendly, high-energy Bartender to mix and serve cocktails in a fast-paced, guest-friendly environment. You will combine craft techniques with top-notch service to create memorable experiences while earning tips on top of base pay.

Our venues operate 11am–1am daily, offering flexible schedules and opportunities to grow within a fun hospitality team. Must be 21+, bring craft cocktail experience, and uphold state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age to apply.
• Prior craft cocktail experience in high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
• Must obtain required licenses and certifications per state/local requirements.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.
• Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game every day.
• Greet guests with a warm invite and sincere smile.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and instructions.
• Stock/restock appropriate bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
• Follow all steps of service to effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining area.
• Anticipate guests needs and show attentiveness to ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations.
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Safely and effectively transport food and beverage.
• Keep areas tidy and comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
• Give direction to barbacks and be a team player.
• Successfully complete alcohol awareness training.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
