Job summary

Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club in Durham, NC is seeking a Bartender to deliver an exceptional drinking experience by preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a high-volume setting.

You will engage with guests, maintain a clean bar, manage inventory, follow health and safety rules, handle cash and POS transactions, and contribute to menu development while working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
• Proven customer service experience in hospitality.
• Experience preparing a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
