Job summary

Hotel Nikko San Francisco is seeking a professional bartender to serve classical and new cocktails with high energy and excellent communication. You will greet guests, learn preferences, and upsell items while preparing and serving beverages and food.

Responsibilities include maintaining recipes and drink quality, coordinating with restaurant staff, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Excellent knowledge of beverage products and service standards.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote house drinks and upsell to maximize revenue.
• Prepare beverages per recipes; coordinate with food service when needed.
• Monitor guest intoxication and stop service when necessary.
• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service at all times.
• Know beverage lists, promotions, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Follow outlet policies, safety, and sanitation standards.
