Job summary

EOS Hospitality at The Barnes Hotel in San Francisco seeks an experienced bartender who delivers exceptional guest service, crafts classic cocktails, and introduces exciting new beverages. You will greet guests, learn preferences, upsell, and work with a team to ensure smooth service and accuracy in orders.

Responsibilities include menu planning, maintaining cleanliness, safety, cash handling, and consistent communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• High-end bartender experience preferred.
• ServSafe or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, determine beverage preferences, make recommendations and take orders.
• Plan drink menus and inform customers about specials.
• Prepare and serve beverages, garnish and upsell items.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and ensure safety.
• Adhere to food safety and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain service levels and assist team to meet sales goals.
