Job summary

RA SUSHI BAR RESTAURANT in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly bartender to craft cocktails and serve beverages to guests and servers, following recipes and maintaining a clean, well stocked bar. You will ring up orders, handle payments, and ensure a smooth, welcoming service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bartending experience, knowledge of wine, spirits and sake, and certification in Responsible Alcohol Service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Experience with wine, spirits and sake preferred.
• Must be certified in Responsible Alcohol Service by applicable agency.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or guests.
• Prepare beverages per server tickets and recipes.
• Mix cocktails and drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
• Check IDs to verify age and report underage or intoxicated guests.
• Ring up orders in POS, handle payments, and balance receipts.
• Keep bar stocked, clean, and organized; report faulty products/equipment.
