You will pivot between volume bartending and cocktail service, acting as a brand ambassador to build loyalty through storytelling and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong understanding of cocktail preparation, spirits, and beverage service.
• Knowledge of safety, TABC regulations, and food handling best practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, late nights, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to SAQ recipes and specifications.
• Deliver elevated hospitality by greeting guests warmly, making thoughtful recommendations, and anticipating guest needs.
• Accurately describe food and beverage offerings, including spirits profiles, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Serve alcohol responsibly and in compliance with TABC guidelines to ensure the safety of guests and the company.
• Maintain awareness of potential food and beverage allergens and communicate clearly with guests as needed. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and integrity of the bar, equipment, and surrounding service areas.
• Monitor stock levels behind the bar and communicate needs or shortages to management proactively.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using the POS system.
• Assist in addressing guest feedback and service recovery opportunities with professionalism and care.
• Work efficiently under pressure, multitasking during high-volume service while maintaining quality and composure.
• Promote teamwork by communicating clearly and supporting fellow team members across shifts and departments.
