Job summary

RA Sushi - Mesa is seeking a friendly bartender to deliver prompt, accurate beverage service for guests and servers. You will mix cocktails, manage bar setup, and ensure a clean, organized work area while following recipes and standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking beverage orders, ringing in items in the POS, handling payments, verifying age, and assisting with food service when appropriate. A 21+ certification and sushi/ sake knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in bartending (preferred).
• Experience with Japanese cuisine, especially sushi and sake (preferred).
• Basic wine, spirits and sake knowledge (preferred).
• Certified in Responsible Alcohol Service (must).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders from guests or servers.
• Prepare beverage orders for servers according to tickets.
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standards/recipes.
• Verify guest age for alcohol purchases and address underage issues.
• Ring up drinks/food in POS, handle payments and balance receipts.
• Maintain well-stocked bar with tools and products; report defects.
• Offer food items to bar guests when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, drinks, promos.
• Handle bar setup, cleaning and side work; assist catering events.
