Job summary

Soho House in Miami Beach is seeking a Bartender to join its vibrant bar team. You will craft cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks, serve food, and deliver memorable experiences for guests and members, aligning with the brand and global beverage program.

A successful Bartender will greet customers, learn and remember preferences, upsell items, and maintain a neat appearance and engaging personality while driving conversation and sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in high-volume F&B operation.
• Craft cocktail experience with seasonal ingredients.
• Experience making coffee drinks is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests timely and consistently.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable.
• Tips certified.
• Micros a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized section and collaborate with other bartenders to wash glassware and utensils; clean up after customers and work area.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials and food pairing options to promote additional sales.
• Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register.
• Check identifications to ensure legal age and monitor intoxication levels.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays and promote beverages.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and delegate replenishment of items to Barbacks.
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to maintain a globally unified program.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
