Job summary

The Cambria Detroit is expanding and seeks a dynamic Bartender to join our hotel bar team. You will craft craft cocktails, greet guests promptly, and maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area.

Ideal candidates have prior bartending experience, a strong knowledge of spirits and house recipes, excellent communication, and the ability to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, outgoing and organized.
• Fast-paced craft cocktail bar experience required.
• Able to learn and follow house recipes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer service focus.
• Flexibility with alternating shifts and team environment.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to handle difficult patrons professionally.
• Cash register software experience or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders, mix and serve cocktails according to recipes.
• Enter orders into POS, handle payments and make change.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and attractive display.
• Greet guests within 90 seconds and provide attentive service.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
