Job summary

MAPLES HOSPITALITY LLC in Michigan is seeking a Bartender to join our team. You will take drink orders, recommend cocktails, and maintain a clean, inviting bar area while delivering friendly, attentive service.

The ideal candidate has experience in bartending or hospitality, knowledge of beverages and bar menu items, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending is preferred.
• Mixology or hospitality certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items.
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders.
• Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow laws for serving alcohol.
• Collect payment and operate cash register.
• Order, maintain, and restock inventory of bar supplies and ingredients.
• Open and close the bar, including cleaning duties.
