Job summary

Virgin Hotels Central Services Llc is seeking a part-time Barback for the Commons Club in Nashville. You will support bartenders, stock and maintain the bar, and engage guests with friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have bar experience and a solid understanding of beverage operations, with a focus on safety, hygiene, and teamwork to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler Card and TIPS certification valid for at least 6 months.
• 1–2 years experience in a full service restaurant or lounge preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8–10 hours.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with pre-shift prep and post-shift close.
• Stock bar supplies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Explain basic menu details of dishes and beverages at delivery.
• Assist with running food and beverages and interacting with guests.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar layout and inventory across the venue.
