Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Barback to support the lobby and restaurant bars at Grand Hyatt Nashville. You will inventory, stock, and prep beverage items, assist with bar operations, and help maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and employee hotel discounts. Evening shifts with full-time or part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with bar operations and beverage service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and restock glassware, ice, disposables, and essentials before service.
• Assist with perpetual inventory and organize received items.
• Support with craft syrups, bitters, juices, and related items.
• Replenish bar supplies during service (beer, wine, liquor, juices, snacks, ice).
• Change beer kegs and retrieve specialty wines/spirits from storage.
• Clean and sanitize bar surfaces between guest interactions.
• Assist guests to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Transport ware and keep the bar fully stocked.
• Break down the bar at the end of service and perform other duties as assigned.
