Job summary

Three Notch’d Brewing Company in Columbia, SC seeks a General Manager to lead Front of House and Back of House operations for the new Columbia location. You will supervise staff, set standards for guest service, manage costs, and collaborate with the Executive Chef, production, finance, marketing, and events teams to deliver quality food and beer experiences.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of restaurant or bar leadership, relevant certifications, strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant or bar for at least 5 years.
• Current, valid food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
• Current, valid safe alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong passion for craft beer and spirits; highly organized and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Managers all Front of House staff in coordination with supervisors and BOH with Executive Chef.
• Oversees operations to ensure quality and consistency in customer service and menu design.
• Responsible for hiring, training, development, and performance management of FOH team.
• Controls costs and profitability; reports weekly to VP of Retail Operations.
• Partners with Executive Chef on menu cohesion and seasonal offerings.
• Leads scheduling and execution of events in the restaurant.
