City Bakery is seeking a Dough Shaper to contribute to the heart of our craft bread program. You will shape loaves, baguettes, and rolls under our time-honored processes, while collaborating with a creative baking team to exceed expectations in flavor and texture.

We value dedication to quality, readiness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Training is available for the right candidate who shares our passion for bread.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or food production environment desirable but training is available.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate in a fast-paced setting.
• Passion for baking and tradition of craft quality.

Responsibilities

• Dough shaping: divide and shape a range of craft doughs following recipes and processes.
• Quality control: ensure doughs meet high standards for shape, texture, and appearance.
• Team collaboration: work closely with bakery team to ensure smooth operations and timely product availability.
• Maintenance: keep the bakery area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Continuous improvement: be open to learning and experimenting with new techniques and recipes.
• Physical stamina: stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
