Job summary

Monday Night Brewing seeks a Taproom General Manager for our Birmingham location—Monday Night Social Club. This full-time role reports to the Director of Hospitality and focuses on operating the Birmingham-based taproom, maximizing revenue, and leading a high-functioning team in a hospitality-forward environment.

The candidate will build culture, ensure guest satisfaction, and manage staff with a strong emphasis on compliance, programming, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of senior management in bar or restaurant.
• Proven ability to hire, build and grow diverse teams.
• Strong business acumen with ability to analyze P&L and KPIs.
• High energy, decisive leader with excellent communication.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS and back-office systems.
• Proven ability to maintain guest-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hiring and onboarding of taproom staff with support.
• Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and taproom regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local food, alcohol, and employment regulations.
• Achieve revenue targets and manage budgets.
• Develop and implement SOPs to ensure quality and consistency.
• Analyze KPIs and act on challenges or opportunities.
• Drive sales through programming and guest engagement.
• Manage private events staffing and operations.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Regional Director on beer releases and events.
