Big Bad Breakfast in Birmingham, AL seeks an experienced Bartender to join our team. You will provide high-quality beverage service, handle drink preparation, inventory control and guest interactions in a fast-paced, welcoming bar setting.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, strong multitasking ability, and meticulous adherence to safety and sanitation standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proven beverage preparation experience with attention to consistency and quality.
• Ability to stock and maintain bar supplies, including alcohol, glassware and ice.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills to engage guests and coordinate with team.
• Safe handling and sanitization practices for bar equipment and workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service at the bar, exceeding guest expectations.
• Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly atmosphere.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and efficiency.
• Manage bar inventory and reconcile cash drawer accurately.
• Clean and sanitize glassware and bar equipment meticulously.
• Identify signs of intoxication and handle service responsibly.
• Record orders, process transactions, and follow restaurant policies.
• Respond to menu questions and promote current promotions.
• Follow health, safety and dietary protocols; complete required trainings.
• Support teammates and assist with additional duties as needed.
