Job summary

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate with and understand our guests.
• Must have basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Stand/work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a timely fashion and make them feel comfortable.
• Inform guests of specials, new beers, and menu changes.
• Make recommendations and know the beer selection.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean service areas and reset tables as needed.
• Monitor guest dining experience and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle payments and process charges accurately.
• Attend alcohol service permit certification within 30 days of employment.
