Ballast Point Brewing Company in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Field Sales Representative to promote Ballast Point products across the Southern California market. The role centers on building retailer and distributor partnerships, executing sales strategies, and driving distribution and volume.

The ideal candidate brings a passion for craft beer, proven sales results, excellent communication, and willingness to travel. Knowledge of industry tools and events experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or similar field.
• 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred.
• Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred.
• Familiar with VIP iDig, IRI, BIR, Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with retailers, distributors, and customers to drive sales.
• Leads planning meetings with wholesalers to align on revenue and distribution goals.
• Participates in events, samplings, and rides-with to support brand education.
• Coaches wholesaler sales teams to boost market performance.
• Adheres to applicable alcohol laws and maintains field execution standards.
