Job summary

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, seeks a bartender to craft memorable experiences for guests in a boutique setting. You will greet guests, take and pour orders, and maintain beverage quality while upholding safety and service standards.

The ideal candidate brings bartending experience, wine and spirits knowledge, and strong communication. Certifications, a flexible schedule, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are valued, with room for growth

Qualifications

• 3 year of bartending experience is preferred.
• Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable of credit card and cash handling procedures, as well as recording accurate tip-out sheets, and calculating accurate bill amounts.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications (if applicable).
• Flexible schedule and are able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and promptly serve them food and beverages.
• Pour drinks, according to specifications, process orders in the POS with accuracy.
• Serve food and drinks to guests, and assist servers as needed.
• Notify a manager if a guest is intoxicated or disruptive.
• Unpack deliveries, stock bar, and manage ice and kegs.
• Maintain clean shelves, stainless steel, mixers, cups, and soda guns.
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications and communicate with the team.
• We may require duties outside of this scope from time to time.
