Job summary

Towneplace Suites Universal City/Live Oak is seeking a Bartender in the Food and Beverage department. You will mix and serve drinks, handle cashier duties for bar food orders, and requisition bar supplies while maintaining bar cleanliness and display.

Required certifications include Food Handler’s or ServSafe, and TX TABC or LA RVSP. Prior related experience is a plus, with attention to brand standards and customer service.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification required.
• TABC (TX) or RVSP (LA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from customers and servers.
• Mix and serve drinks according to order specifications.
• Serve wine and beer.
• General cashier duties for bar food and beverage orders.
• Requisitions for bar supplies.
• Arrange bottles and glasses for display.
• Prepare drink garnishments.
• Replenish bar supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
• Set up, breakdown, or secure bar display when opening and closing.
• Ensure service complies with company, brand, and TABC requirements.
