Job summary

Hilton Houston Westchase seeks a Bartender to mix and serve drinks, handle cash, and maintain bar area operations. You will take orders, prepare beverages, and ensure compliance with brand standards and TABC requirements in a fast-paced hotel bar.

The role involves replenishing supplies, garnishing drinks, and assisting with bar setup and shutdown while delivering high-quality guest service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to upsell beverages.
• Accurate cash handling and POS operations.
• Ability to mix and serve beverages per order specifications.
• Knowledge of bar inventory and supply management.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink orders from customers and/or servers.
• Mixes and serves drinks according to order specifications.
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
• Performs general cashier duties for bar food and beverage orders.
• Requisitions beer, wine, liquor and bar supplies.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive display.
• Prepares drink garnishments.
• Replenishes bar supplies as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the bar area.
• Sets up, breaks down, and secures bar display at opening/closing.
• Ensures service complies with company, brand, and TABC requirements.
