Job summary

Hilton in Houston's Food and Beverage department seeks a professional bartender to craft and serve drinks to bar guests, ensuring quality, speed, and presentation in a fast-paced setting.

You will take orders, mix and garnish beverages, manage bar stock and cash transactions, and uphold brand standards and Texas TABC compliance. A current Food Handler’s or ServSafe certificate is required, along with TX TABC or LA RVSP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Less than a high school education; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Food Handler’s certificate or ServSafe certification is required. Current TABC (TX) or RVSP (LA) is required.
• Knowledge of Inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink orders from customers and/or servers
• Mixes and serves drinks according to order specifications
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
• General cashier duties for the sale of bar food and beverage orders
• Requisitions for beer, wine, liquor and bar supplies.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display
• Prepares drink garnishments
• Replenishes bar supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area
• Set up, breakdown, or securing bar display when opening and closing
• Serves patrons in compliance with company, brand, and TABC requirements.
