Job summary

Embassy Suites Houston Downtown is seeking a Bartender to mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for bar patrons. You will take orders, prepare beverages, handle cash, and maintain bar cleanliness while ensuring compliance with brand standards.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, arranging displays, and handling garnishments. Experience with inventory software and basic math for money handling is preferred. This on-site role supports the Food and Beverage department.

Qualifications

• Experience handling drink orders and interacting with guests.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink orders from customers and/or servers
• Makes and serves drinks according to order specifications
• Serves wine and beer (draught or bottled)
• Performs general cashier duties for bar and food orders
• Prepares garnishments and maintains bar stock
• Maintains cleanliness of the bar area
• Ensures compliance with company, brand, and TABC requirements
