Poets Modern Cocktail & Eats in Baltimore is seeking a part-time bartender to expertly mix drinks, manage bar supplies, and deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will work in a fast-paced setting, handle cash using a POS/MICROS system, learn all drink recipes and prices, and complete liquor-liability training within 30 days of employment; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies and daily requisitions.
• Be familiar with liquor, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices and beverage types available.
• Handle cash accurately using MICROS or registers; manage discounts and tips.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every 2 years.
