Job summary

Poets Modern Cocktail & Eats is seeking a part-time bartender for its Baltimore location at Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown. You will expertly mix and serve drinks, manage bar stock, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Training on liquor liability is provided and ongoing refreshers are required every two years. Responsibilities include knowledge of drink recipes, proper glassware, garnishes, and daily requisitions, with strong emphasis on guest

Responsibilities

• Efficiently maintain bar supplies and daily requisitions.
• Be familiar with liquor varieties, recipes, prices, glassware and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices, and beverage offerings.
• Handle cash accurately and operate MICROS or registers; manage tips per policy.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete liquor liability training within 30 days and every 2 years.
