Poets Modern Cocktail & Eats at Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown is seeking a personable bartender to join our busy hotel restaurant. You will craft cocktails, maintain station cleanliness, and ensure guests receive timely, friendly service in a vibrant, hospitality-focused setting.

The ideal candidate communicates well, works well under pressure, and welcomes varying shifts including evenings and weekends. Previous bar experience and basic cash handling are a plus; on-the-job training in liquor

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies and prepare daily requisitions.
• Know liquor, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices, and beverages available.
• Handle cash accurately; MICROS system and tip policies.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete liquor liability training within 30 days and every 2 years.
