You will work at the Poets Modern Cocktail & Eats venue inside Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown, bringing knowledge of cocktails, pricing, and glassware while upholding cash handling procedures and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication written and verbal with guests and team
• Strong work ethic and initiative in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain poise
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Enjoyment of teamwork to create great guest experiences

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies and daily requisitions
• Be fully familiar with liquor varieties, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes
• Know drink recipes, prices, and beverage offerings
• Handle cash accurately and operate MICROS/ registers, manage tips
• Anticipate guest needs and foster positive guest relations
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
• Receive liquor liability training within 30 days and every 2 years thereafter
