Job summary

Loenbro seeks a Director of Craft & Apprenticeship Programs to design and oversee Loenbro University's workforce training ecosystem. You will shape curriculum for craft specialties, registered apprenticeships, electrical training, and safety training, reporting to the VP of Learning & Development.

Lead program strategy across multiple states, ensure quality, and align with NCCER standards, DOL/SAA requirements, and spaced team development. Primary liaison to Operations and HR.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in workforce development, craft training, or technical education in industrial sectors.
• Direct experience designing or managing registered apprenticeship programs with NCCER and apprenticeship standards.
• Experience leading and developing a multi-site team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with NCCER curriculum, facilitator certification processes, or equivalent standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic vision and curriculum framework for craft training and apprenticeship programs.
• Design structured learning pathways from entry to journeyman levels aligned to NCCER standards.
• Develop scalable program architecture across multi-state operations.
• Set program standards, learning outcomes, and performance benchmarks.
• Lead and grow a team of program professionals including a Craft Program Manager and Apprenticeship Coordinator.
• Collaborate with Operations, Talent Acquisition, Safety, and HR to ensure field-deployable programs.
