Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a mortgage professional to originate CRA loans within a metropolitan territory. You will build referral networks with realtors and builders, take applications, perform preliminary underwriting, and move files through processing.

This role keeps you the primary contact for customers and realtors for documentation and closing, with 50% of time spent away from branches. The position requires NMLS registration and a solid background in mortgage/sales/real estate, plus the ability to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in mortgage, sales, or real estate.
• NMLS registration required and ongoing compliance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Originate CRA loans in an assigned metropolitan territory.
• Develop referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers and others.
• Take mortgage applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, and submit to processing.
• Maintain front-line contact with customers and realtors for follow-up documentation.
• Promote additional bank products to deepen customer relationships.
