Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Community Development Manager in Mobile, AL to act as a trusted advisor to divisions, shaping strategies for community development loans, investments and services. You will engage with community leaders, nonprofits and stakeholders, coordinating CRA initiatives and tracking performance against guidelines.

You will collaborate with lending and retail teams to develop loan programs and partnerships that serve local communities, while coaching staff and ensuring risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of CRA and/or other compliance-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone.
• Serve as CRA/CD representative to the Bank's communities and organizations in a defined geography.
• Establish best practices to maximize resources for lending, investment and service goals.
• Promote strategic goals for business units with CRA impact.
• Ensure CRA education programs and tracking reports are accurate and timely.
