Job summary

Tribal One Construction is seeking a combined Construction Quality Manager (CQM), Superintendent, and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for federal projects. The role oversees on-site operations, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with USACE, NAVFAC, BIA, NPS, GSA, and other agencies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of federal construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage schedules, safety programs, and project documentation onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of federal construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Superintendent, CQM, SSHO, or similar leadership role on federal projects.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, BIA, GSA, NPS, or other federal projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan.
• Direct and coordinate all onsite construction operations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor productivity, manpower allocation, and project progress.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment utilization, and subcontractor activities.
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans.
• Maintain effective communication with owners, contracting officers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
