Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) in Huntsville, AL to lead security for classified DoD programs. You will implement security requirements, manage personnel security and material accountability, and coordinate with government customers.

The role requires a TS clearance, strong communication, and the ability to translate requirements into practical security solutions that protect information while enabling mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of relevant industrial or program security experience.
• Active TS clearance and eligibility for SAP/SI access as required.
• Experience supporting DoD government programs and SAP security requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with program leadership and government customers.
• Ability to interpret government and Leidos security requirements and apply them to operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CPSO for assigned classified programs and SAPs, providing leadership and oversight.
• Implement and administer program security requirements per NISPOM, JSIG, ICDs, DD Form 254, and SCGs.
• Interface with program leadership and government security to ensure security is understood and integrated.
• Administer day-to-day security activities including personnel, physical, and information protection.
