Job summary

NYC Administration for Children's Services seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to manage CPS trainee assignments, coordinate specialized trainings, and ensure adherence to ACS policies. You will collaborate with clinicians to deliver targeted trainings in domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with MSW prep and at least 18 months of child welfare experience, plus strong communication and bilingual capabilities, with a focus on NYC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 24 credits in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, criminal justice, education or related field; 12 credits must be in one of these disciplines; 30 credits toward a Master of Social Work or related field; at least 18 months of child welfare casework experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees CPS trainee assignments to Training Units for On-the-Job Training (OJT).
• Coordinates specialized training opportunities for CPS trainees with Training Unit Supervisors.
• Arranges and schedules mandatory and non-mandatory trainings; conducts in-house trainings.
