Job summary

The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) in New York City seeks a Staff Development Coordinator for the Division of Child Protection (DCP), Office of Special Investigations (OSI) in Manhattan. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 30 credits toward MSW or related graduate degree.
  • At least 18 months of child welfare casework experience.
  • 55a Program eligibility noted in postings.
  • New York City residency not required.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and oversees CPS trainee assignments to the On-the-Job Training program.
  • Coordinates specialized CPS trainee trainings with Training Unit Supervisors.
  • Arranges and schedules mandatory and non-mandatory trainings.
  • Conducts in-house trainings to address borough needs and policy compliance.
  • Coordinates trainings with the clinical consultation team and other trainers.
  • May serve as interviewers at CPS Hiring Pools.
