Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking a CPI Investigative Supervisor I/II in Arlington, TX. The role leads a unit conducting CPI investigations and alternative response cases, ensuring safety and timely actions in a high-energy environment.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, review performance, and provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years CPI/CPS experience or equivalent.
• Experience supervising administrative staff and caseworkers.
• Knowledge of CPI/AR processes and safety protocols.
• Strong report writing and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Attends regular/predictable schedule per agency policy.
• Directs and staffs case actions related to safety, risk, and permanency daily.
• Reviews case records to ensure documentation reflects contacts and safety actions.
• Oversees time/leave entries in CAPPS and manages overtime.
• Trains staff and conducts monthly CPI meetings to share policy updates.
• Interprets program policy for staff and external partners.
