Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) seeks CPS Conservatorship Workers I–IV in Killeen, TX. You will manage cases where children are removed, assess needs, coordinate services, and work toward permanency, often traveling to homes and courts. A Master’s could provide higher starting pay.

Remote work is not available; expect regular travel up to 60%. Positions may begin at various levels with salary meeting state guidelines and probation requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree, one of: social, human, protective services or related field.
• Associate's degree plus two years of relevant work experience or 60 credit hours plus two years.
• 90 credit hours plus one year of relevant work experience.

Mansioni

• Receives cases from investigators after children are removed and placed in conservatorship.
• Determines child needs and ensures referrals for services to achieve permanency.
• Plans for permanency with families and kinship resources.
• Documents case records and maintains communication with involved parties.
