Job summary

The Department of Health and Human Services is hiring a Child Protective Services Case Aide to support Maine's child welfare program. This role involves gathering health records, data entry, reviewing reports, and coordinating with medical and child welfare staff to ensure accurate information flow.

Qualified candidates have experience with office support, MS Word and Excel, and a valid Maine Class C driver's license.

Qualifications

• Proficient in office support with ability to manage records and data entry.
• Experience with health records or medical/mental health information is preferred.
• Must be able to use independent judgment and handle complex administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in gathering health records for children in custody of the Department.
• Reviewing health records and welfare reports, and assisting with data entry and uploading to the information system.
• Tracking and reporting health records and information gathered.
• Communicating and collaborating with medical office personnel and child welfare staff.
• Assisting in tracking and filing informed consent forms.
• Tracking and responding to psychotropic medication review requests.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
