UNC Health is seeking a Per Diem Lifeguard at the Meadowmont Wellness Center in Chapel Hill, NC. Join the team ensuring member safety and a clean, well-maintained pool environment at UNC Health.

The role focuses on safety, pool maintenance, and service to members. Required CPR and Lifeguard certifications; experience with customers with special needs preferred. Onsite work, 10 hours per week, with a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Lifeguard certification is required.
• Experience with consumers with special needs is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answers questions and responds to requests from members regarding aquatics facility and services.
• Maintains pool cleanliness and monitors water chemistry (chlorine and pH) and temperature.
• Monitors pool users for safety and performs first aid, water rescue, or CPR when necessary; enforces pool rules and center policies.
