Job summary

ALLCPR is seeking an Instructor Trainer to teach American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses and coach instructor candidates in the local area. The role requires current instructor credentials and strong CPR/AED knowledge, with in-person teaching across diverse settings.

Work is part-time or contract-based, with weekend availability and a flexible schedule. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and manage training equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
• American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer Certification preferred? (see note)
• Strong knowledge of CPR and AED techniques and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses.
• Deliver instructor-level training sessions to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques that comply with American Red Cross requirements.
• Provide feedback to candidates to help them improve.
• Monitor and evaluate candidate progress to ensure proficiency.
• Complete and submit course records per American Red Cross requirements.
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date and compliant with program requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with CPR/AED best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates.
