Job summary

SHANKMAN & ASSOCIATES in Kentucky seeks a Marketing Specialist to develop and execute marketing communications for our CPG clients, focusing on direct-to-retailer programs, digital content, social media, and sales enablement.

You will collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing and cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into clear materials, manage website content, and produce polished, brand-consistent assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant Marketing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate complex information.
• Attention to detail, adaptability, emotional intelligence and sound judgment.
• Experience with social media content development and management.

Responsibilities

• Direct to Retailer Marketing – identify client priorities, develop retailer-facing communications, and support engagement.
• Social Media Management – create content and cadence for social activation and respond to interactions.
• Track engagement and use results to improve campaigns.
• Develop and maintain selling materials, presentations and digital assets.
• Manage website content, copy, imagery, and design updates.
• Develop polished, brand-consistent corporate marketing materials.
• Create and edit short-form video content for corporate, client, and social initiatives.
• Manage branded promotional merchandise.
• Develop press releases and external communications as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support the department and organization.
