Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter orders accurately in SNAP system per department specs.
• Obtain documentation and insurance information from patient and referral sources.
• Acquire proper authorizations to bill insurance.
• Verify insurance coverage and adjust information per processes.
• Provide cost estimates after insurance verification.
• Explain financial responsibility to patients and families and process payments.
• Follow open task lists and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
