Job summary

Total Respiratory is seeking a DME Delivery Technician and Patient Support Specialist to safely transport, install, and test home respiratory equipment, while educating patients and coordinating with offices and referrals. You will guide patients through non-clinical CPAP demonstrations according to manufacturer instructions and company protocols, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior DME intake, billing, or authorization experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office, DME company, medical billing department, or healthcare customer service environment preferred.
• Valid drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and set up DME equipment at patients homes or healthcare facilities.
• Provide basic CPAP equipment setup and demonstrate basic operation.
• Assist patients with appointment scheduling, check-in, and managing a multi-line phone system.
• Adhere to safety procedures for transporting and handling oxygen and medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment setup, education provided, and inventory.
