Job summary

Bayview Asset Management, LLC seeks an Associate, CPACE - Underwriting & Transaction Management to underwrite, structure and close commercial real estate CPACE financings nationwide. You will handle credit analysis, transaction structuring and due diligence from initial opportunity through closing, coordinating with lenders, sponsors and counsel.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel modeling and strong quantitative, analytical and CRE credit skills.
• Understanding of construction finance, CPACE program requirements, capital stacks, lender protections and complex transaction structures.
• Ability to interpret third-party diligence, identify material risks and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, organization and cross-functional project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions independently while exercising sound judgment and seeking appropriate approvals.
• Experience with CoStar, RCA, Salesforce or comparable market research and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting & credit analysis: build and review transaction-level financial models and analyses.
• Transaction structuring & co-lender coordination: develop CPACE/CRE funding structures and evaluate intercreditor arrangements.
• Due diligence & risk management: lead collection and review of appraisals, contracts, budgets and reports.
• Transaction management & closing: manage timelines, checklists and document drafting with counsel.
• Team, pipeline & process support: provide guidance, maintain pipeline reports and improve processes.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts on models, diligence and deliverables.
