Job summary

Ally Financial invites new graduates to join the Ally Accounting LEADership Development Program (ALDP), a full-time role in Detroit that combines three rotations over three years to fast-track CPA designation within the Controller’s function. You’ll gain cross-functional, enterprise-wide exposure across accounting, reporting, and tax areas.

The program starts in June 2027 and offers a competitive base pay, an annual incentive plan, and comprehensive Total Rewards. Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Graduating between June 2026 and July 2027; seniors or post-graduate students pursuing Accounting/Business Administration with CPA preferred.
• Previous accounting internship experience is preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Three 12-month rotations within the Controller’s function in Detroit, Michigan, across Accounting and reporting, Tax Accounting, Financial Controls and Financial Reporting.
• Prepare tax provisions and related disclosures; forecast tax expense and file tax returns; coordinate with external auditors.
