Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Coveo Platform Lead to own the search, discovery, and merchandising experience for an enterprise client. This hands-on role spans platform architecture, relevance tuning, and roadmap strategy in collaboration with product, engineering, and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Coveo implementation and administration, including Coveo for Commerce, in production environments.
• Proven experience integrating Coveo with a headless CMS/DXP (Optimizely preferred; Sitecore/Adobe valuable).
• B2B commerce knowledge: contract pricing, account-based catalogs, complex hierarchies, buyer-specific relevance.
• Strong search and merchandising tuning: ranking, relevancy, facets, synonyms, recommendations.
• Experience with conversational AI search patterns and generative search.
• Experience partnering with or acting as a Product Manager, translating business needs into a backlogged tech plan.
• Development experience with Next.js, React, Coveo Headless, and UI components.
• Familiarity with Coveo Usage Analytics and data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Coveo for Commerce implementation, including source/index configuration, query pipelines, and ML models for relevance and recommendations.
• Architect and maintain integrations between Coveo and headless CMS/DXP platforms (Optimizely, etc.).
• Tune search relevance, merchandising rules, facets, and category/page rules to drive findability and conversions.
• Design and implement product recommendations and personalization tied to business KPIs.
• Apply B2B patterns: account-based catalogs, contract pricing, buyer-specific relevance.
• Explore conversational and generative AI search experiences with Coveo RGA.
• Partner with a Product Manager to roadmap features, ROI, and backlogs for engineering.
• Contribute to front-end development using Next.js, React, and Coveo Headless; build reusable UI components.
• Monitor usage analytics to identify gaps and translate insights into tuning cadence.
• Serve as technical lead for the client’s search platform, presenting roadmap and results.
