Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a Search Solution Architect in Wayne, PA for a contract role. The specialist will serve as the primary technical expert for the Coveo platform, driving integration across the CX ecosystem and ensuring seamless data flow with Salesforce and Contentful CMS.

Responsibilities include governance of Coveo integrations, configuration optimization, and designing ML-driven relevance tuning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or IT architecture experience, with 3+ years focused on Coveo
• 3+ years hands-on Coveo experience (Coveo Cloud, Coveo for Salesforce, etc.) and search technologies
• Strong background in Java, Python, or Node.js
• Experience with search engine relevancy tuning, AI/ML models, REST APIs, and front-end tech like React.js/CSS
• Experience in eCommerce search and recommendations in a B2B environment
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch or Apache Solr is valuable
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

Job Summary

The Search Solution Architect will serve as the primary technical expert for the Coveo platform, managing its integration across the CX ecosystem. The role focuses on designing and implementing search, recommendations, and personalization strategies while ensuring seamless integration with platforms such as Salesforce and Contentful CMS.

Job Description

• Define and maintain integration patterns for Coveo with other CX platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Contentful) to ensure unified data flow and a consistent user experience
• Provide architectural governance for Coveo integrations within the Airgas composable Experience Layer
• Oversee Coveo configuration and optimization, including search components, indexing, field mapping, and source management
• Design and govern the customization of relevance tuning and machine learning models, specifically utilizing Query Ranking Expressions (QRE) and Automatic Relevance Tuning
• Design A/B testing and user behavior analysis, and develop reports for search and content analytics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders

Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or IT architecture, with 3+ years focused specifically on Coveo.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Coveo (Coveo Cloud, Coveo for Salesforce, or similar) and search technologies
• Strong background in Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Highly skilled in search engine relevancy tuning, AI/ML models, REST APIs, and composable front‑end technologies like React.js and CSS in a B2B
• Proven experience in eCommerce search and recommendations, specifically within a B2B environment

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Familiarity with tools like Elasticsearch or Apache Solr is of relevant value

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other relevant area

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Highly preferred professional certification in a front‑end framework

• Work Schedule: Hybrid- 3 days in office

Pay Rate/Salary

• $60.00 - 64.52/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
