Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer Service skills
• Effective communication skills

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment, report repairs needed, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines, work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, and manage conflicts appropriately.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $21.01 - $21.26
