Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
• Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answer questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support and assist with interactions involving minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
